Daily Rhythm
9:00 am – Arrival and Open Exploration
Children arrive and settle in with unstructured play and exploration. This open time allows them to naturally observe, ask questions, and interact with their surroundings at their own pace.
10:00 am – Gathering Circle and Snack
We come together in a relaxed circle to greet each other, share any intentions or curiosities for the day, and sing a song. This short gathering helps build community and focuses our energy for the day. We also enjoy a healthy small snack!
10:15 am – Free Exploration and Play-Based Learning
Children engage in uninterrupted exploration and play. They follow their curiosity—whether it’s building, climbing, observing insects, or investigating plants. Educators offer gentle guidance as needed, fostering natural learning without structured activities.
12:00 pm – Lunch and Story in Nature
We pause for a snack break, where children refuel and connect. Afterward, we have a relaxed storytime that often relates to something in nature, letting children connect stories with their environment.
12:30 pm –Small group
A teacher-guided activity that encourages children’s interests, fostering curiosity and connection through hands-on, nature-based exploration in a close-knit setting.
1:00 pm – Departure
Children head home with a sense of calm, wonder, and new experiences from their time in nature.
